J. Travers (Trav) Clark is an associate attorney at Shannon Mullins & Wright LLP where he focuses his practice on Civil/Commercial Litigation, Construction, Real Estate, Design Professional, and Business Law matters.
Trav’s legal experience includes legal research and drafting of memoranda regarding a wide variety of civil motions and trial practice. Trav currently assists clients with participating in civil and commercial litigation, navigating real estate transactions, negotiating contracts, and advising in construction disputes. Prior to joining the private practice, Trav served as a law clerk to The Honorable Randy I. Bellows of the Fairfax County Circuit Court and as judicial intern to The Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
An Alexandria native, Trav has worked to develop deep roots within the local community. Exploring other parts of the Commonwealth of Virginia, he headed south to Fredericksburg where he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Mary Washington. Trav then ventured west to attend law school at The Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington before returning to Alexandria.
Outside the office, Trav enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, and watching (and prior to the pandemic attending) the local DC sports teams. He looks forward to sporting a Nationals, Capitals, Washington Football Team, Wizards or D.C. United jersey to a stadium soon.
